    • Our History

    CMH KHARIAN MEDICAL COLLEGE HISTORY

    Kharian Cantonment is located on the GT road at a distance of 125 km from capital city of Islamabad and 145 km from Lahore. The idea of a medical college in Kharian was initially conceived in 2007 and later on revived in yr 2015.

    The project was approved / construction started in March 2016 adjacent to Combined Military Hospital Kharian. The primary aim of starting this College was to provide high quality Medical Education to our future doctors.

    Main building of the college and 2 x hostels are near completion. PM&DC inspection is due in Sep 2017 followed by advertisement for the admission in first year MBBS.


    Teaching Hospital is an integral part of a Medical College. CMH Kharian medical college has Combined Military Hospital Kharian, a 700 bedded tertiary care hospital as its teaching hospital. The hospital is equipped with advanced / high-tech medical equipment and has excellent facilities in all major clinical disciplines. It is recognized by PMDC for House Job and CPSP for postgraduate training. The hospital has highly qualified Clinical faculty.
