Allied Health Sciences Program
Allied Health Sciences (AHS) programs are designed to develop and train human resource to work with doctors in the field of performance of technical procedures in hospitals, clinics and medical institutes. This Program is being offered in one specialty at the present time; Medical Lab Technology, offered at CMH Kharian Medical College in collaboration with CMH Kharian.

Mission
CKMC-AHSI endeavors to improve existing knowledge and practices in the fields of allied health sciences; both pure and applied, including medical laboratory technology through better teaching and quality training. Institute will adopt innovative and creative approaches in training of students with latest teaching methodologies and exposure of trainees to the most modern equipment in order to equip the students with essential knowledge & skills to perform efficiently in all laboratory settings & facilitate healthcare delivery

BS Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
BS Medical Laboratory Technology is an undergraduate program offered by CMH Kharian Medical College Allied Health Sciences Institute (CKMC-AHSI) under affiliation with National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS). MLT is an allied specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory tests. Medical laboratory technologists spend less time with patients than doctors and nurses, however medical laboratory professionals are equally dedicated to patients’ health.
Being important members of the healthcare team, medical laboratory professionals play a vital role in collecting the information needed to provide the best healthcare to patients. The practice of modern medicine is incomplete without the tests performed in the laboratory. This program is offered by CKMC-AHSI in collaboration with CKMC and CMH Kharian.
Program Highlights
Laboratories of CKMC-AHSI, CKMC and CHM Kharian are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and high-tech equipment including histology, biochemistry, microbiology, chemical pathology, histopathology and blood bank.
